Jayeeta Bhowmick creates alternative paths of living for women who are trapped in lives of prostitution in the second largest red-light area of Kolkata, India. She carries out this work as the Project Director of Destiny Foundation/Reflection. Storybrook Media filmed and edited more than 25 videos over the summer of 2015 for Global Women's Leadership Network (GWLN), a Silicon Valley-based nonprofit that empowers women leaders like Jayeeta to develop their own businesses and nonprofits. The women meet in Silicon Valley for a weeklong "residency," then return to their home countries to continue working for another six months via Skype, email and phone with their US-based business coaches.

In October 2015, we filmed a fundraising event for Asante Africa Foundation at the David Brower Center in Berkeley. The Asante Africa Foundation designs academic programs that empower Kenyan and Tanzanian youth to solve problems in their personal lives and in their communities. Anne Mueni Muli, 25, shares how she triumphed over numerous challenges in her life and how she managed to pull her family up out of poverty at the same time. Most notably, this Kenyan star is also the foundation's first university graduate.

This educational conference provided evidence-based strategies for delivering more effective care to Latino patients. Conference participants also received guidelines, practice tips, tools, and other resources to help improve clinical practice and patient education. The conference focused on themes related to clinical practice, medical research, and community engagement. It was jointly sponsored by The Permanente Medical Group, UC Davis Health System and the Latino Physicians of California (LPOC). Storybrook was hired by LPOC to film this two-day event.

"Ephemeral Vessels" was a one-night only exhibit presented jointly by CODAME + B4BEL4B. B4BEL4B is an experimental art gallery and interactive event space in Oakland, California's Chinatown District. On Saturday, September 27, 2014, the two art collectives presented a multimedia group art show and tech mixer, where both levels of the gallery were covered with live visual projections, interactive art exhibitions, light sculptures, video art, holograms, live 3D scanning booths, and live musical performances. B4BEl4B Gallery owner and artistic director Tiare Ribeaux hired Storybrook to film the event and interview several of the participating artists from Oakland and San Francisco.
